A'shop X C2MTL

Right when the summer was kicking up, we received the opportunity to paint at the prestigious C2MTL conference. The brainchild of Sid Lee and Cirque du Soleil, the three day event aims to help business leaders integrate creativity and innovation into their organizations. The immersive and participative environment, custom built for the event, aims to inspire and connect entrepreneurs and creatives alike.

It was an honour for us to be part of this world renown event, overflowing with some of Canada’s most talented artists, designers and speakers. 

Our first mission on site was to create decorative murals for the site. Five airbrush paintings were created for the private lodges of the C2MTL partners, as well as a huge aerosol mural that extended indoors for the C2 Garage.

Next up, we had Zek and Dodo Ose perform some live painting in the innovation village where people could take a break from the conferences, relax and network with the other attendees. In theme with the garage, we set up a huge stack of used televisions to use as a support for a beautiful motif piece by AnkhOne. We love the way the screens created a atmospheric backlight for his designs.

Not only did we have a great time executing all these cool projects, we also really enjoyed the event. From testing out futuristic virtual-reality glasses to having some down to earth conversations with industry leaders, it was a blast! The closing celebrations were nothing short of epic, with performances by Cirque Du Soleil, amazing food and great people.
